This weird-looking rock formation located off the northern coast of the South Island of New Zealand in the Tasman Bay is made of granite and looks suspiciously like an apple cut into two. Because of the rocks odd shape, it is a big tourist draw – you can boat out to get a closer look, but the exact explanation for why it is split is unknown.
